Hey Moms! Are you on the hunt for a candy-free Valentine option for your child’s class Valentines this year? Don’t worry- I got you covered with this adorable kids Valentine that your kids will be so excited to take to school. I’ve been there… the amount of candy and ‘junk toys’ that comes home from school can be overwhelming at times. This Valentine’s Day I came up with the cutest class valentine that is actually useful and under $2 per valentine. Now thats a mom win!

For this DIY Valentine I chose something super easy we could make together. This homemade Valentine idea is perfect since all the kids in my son’s preschool class are really into Hotwheels right now. The Hotwheel toy cars are good quality and only about $1 a piece, making this project perfect for his preschool class of 20 students. However, you could also use any other kind of small toy car for these class valentines.

Supplies Needed:
- Class Valentine Printable
- 5in x 7in Card Stock
- Washi Tape (to attach the car to the valentine)
- Scissors
- Toy cars

This easy to use Etsy printable is just darling and comes with 4 different class Valentine variations. The kids Valentines have a perfect space for placing a toy car. I printed these at home with 5in x 7in cardstock on our home printer. You could also take the file to your local print shop.

Once the class valentine cards are printed, you’ll secure the toy to the cardstock with washi tape. Washi tape is available in so many colors, so you can really get creative with this step. My son was so excited to give toy car valentines to the kids in his preschool class – and I love having a no-candy option for Valentine Day card’s.

This was such a fun project for me and my son. He can’t wait to give these adorable candy-free Valentine Day cards to his classmates. Finally a Kids Valentine that is actually useful!
