I love to make meals special for my toddlers by showing love with cute foods. This is the perfect way to start the day with a sweet treat that is also nutrient rich. This adorable bear toast is one of the easiest and healthy cute breakfast ideas for toddlers!
Cute Bear Toast Ingredients:
- Whole Wheat Toast
- Nut Butter (Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, Nutella)
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Bananas
- Chocolate Chips
Step 1: Toast & Butter Bread

First, toast the whole grain toast in the toaster. Toasting the bread will help make the nut butter easier to spread. Once toasted, use a butter knife to generously spread the nut butter on the toast. We used peanut butter, because that is what we had in the pantry. Other substitutes would be almond butter or Nutella for an extra sweet treat!
Step 2: Slice Fruit & Make Bear Face

Next, slice the fruits. Slice one medium sized banana into small slices. Banana will be used for the bears ears, nose and paws. Then slice a fresh strawberry in half lengthwise, and cut a ‘v’ shape into the top to make a heart (see picture). The Strawberry will be used for the nose.
Step 3: Add Eyes and Nose

Lastly, add one blueberry for the bears nose and chocolate chips for eyes.
Substitutions:
Don’t be afraid to mix it up! Bear toast is super flexible so you can use whatever you already have on hand. For the spread you can use peanut butter, almond butter or Nutella. If you would like to omit the chocolate chips, you could substitute with raisins. If you don’t have blueberries, you could simply use chocolate chips or raisins for the nose.

Final Thoughts:
My one year old and four year old absolutely loved eating this bear toast. It was such a fun way to brighten up their morning and bring smiles to their faces. We will definitely be making this again soon!
