Two Fast Toddler Birthday Party
Little boys really do grow up too fast! Our toddler just turned two and we decided to celebrate him with a race car themed ‘Two Fast’ party. This party was absolutely perfect! I’m so excited to share all our Two Fast birthday party ideas.
Throwing a party for your little one can be quite the task. So here I’m breaking down everything we did to host a super cute Two Fast Party birthday party at our home. This post isn’t about an extravagant party hosted by an influencer; it’s about a practical birthday celebration that is budget-friendly, adorable and simple to organize. Let’s dive in!

Let’s start with the invitations. Regardless of whether you choose paper or digital formats, a cute invitation is a perfect way to create a little excitement about your upcoming birthday celebration. We used this adorable Two Fast theme printed invitation that was a huge hit. I’ve linked the template below so you can use it for FREE! The invitation measures 5 inches by 7 inches in landscape orientation. You can print the invitation or share digitally. Get access to your Free Two Fast Party Invitation Here.
Amazon Party Decorations

We put together the cutest DIY balloon garland from Amazon—perfect for brightening up the space! This kit is very easy to assemble, making it a total mom-win. The garland setup also comes with a giant number 2 balloon and birthday banner. We also added a cheeky Speed Limit 2 sign and a Two Fast birthday banner to our birthday decorations.
Entry Way Decor
Being a family that loves racing and cars, we conveniently had an extra set of tires in the garage that we rolled out and placed by our front door. If you don’t have spare tires on hand- don’t worry! Amazon has some adorable inflatable race car tires that would work perfectly.
Next, we turned our entryway into a driver speedway, with these orange cones topped with checkered flags. The cones were great quality, and our kids kept playing with them even after the party. We frequently use them in the backyard to create obstacle courses. This was a fantastic investment! I truly appreciate party decorations that can be reused.
Two Fast Party Activities

We made an adorable DIY Race-Car Track that we setup outside. This was undoubtedly the main attraction of the event. We painted the track in bright red and black, complete with a checkered finish line! It was a huge hit among all the children at the party. I was surprised that all ages, ranging from 1 to 10, thoroughly enjoying playing with the track. We used Hot Wheels cars for the track races, and the kids eagerly took turns sending their car choices zooming down the ramp.
We also set up an automated bubble station for the kids to enjoy and a small bounce house for the little ones to expend their energy. Parents appreciated having these engaging activities available- it allowed the children to play freely and enjoy themselves while the adults mingled.
Two Fast Birthday Cake

We created a DYI Two Fast birthday cake for my little birthday boy that was super budget friendly. We ordered a simple round vanilla cake with orange icing and a checkered stripe from Safeway. Then, I added a toy car on top that I found at a local convenience store. To finish off the cake, I used this Two Fast cake topper I purchased from Amazon. This is by far my favorite hack to creating a budget friendly birthday cake.
Amazon Party Favors

We put together Two Fast themed party favor bags for all the kids attending the party. I used these two fast gift bags and set them out with a letter board sign that read: “Thanks for Racing Over. Take one before you go!” In each Two Fast party favor bag we put a toy monster truck from Amazon, DYI race car sticker pads from Amazon, toddler race themed bracelets from Amazon and checkered print kids sunglasses from Amazon.
Birthday Party Outfit

We got my two-year-old this adorable little “Two Fast” t-shirt for his party. It was not only super cute but also very comfortable, and he absolutely loved it! To complete the look, we paired the t-shirt with a pair of denim jeans and some checkered, race-themed toddler vans that made him feel like a true speedster. Watching him zoom around with his friends in his special outfit was so much fun! It was the perfect toddler-friendly ensemble for him to enjoy all the activities while looking like the coolest little racer on the track.
Party Food

We prepared simple and nutritious snacks that toddlers love, including fresh diced fruits, cheese and crackers, applesauce pouches, water, and sugar-free juice boxes. We used checkered food baskets that kept the toddler-friendly snacks neatly organized on the plates. Watching the toddlers happily munching on their snacks and giggling with their friends added an extra layer of joy to the celebration.

For our meal, we decided to order pizza to keep things uncomplicated and to make cleanup a breeze. We chose a variety of toppings to cater to everyone’s tastes, from classic cheese and pepperoni to veggie-packed options. To complement the pizza, we set up a small salad bar with an assortment of fresh veggies and dressings, allowing guests to customize their own salads. This not only added a healthy touch to the meal but also provided a fun, interactive element for both kids and adults.
With a delicious spread and easy cleanup, everyone could focus on enjoying the party and making wonderful memories with our little speedster.

Overall, the Two-Fast theme was a hit and made for a memorable celebration that us and our birthday boy will cherish forever. It was a day filled with incredible moments, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our toddler’s milestone. The “Two-Fast” party wasn’t just an event; it was a wonderful memory that will be remembered for years to come. We’re already looking forward to planning the next celebration, with even more creative ideas up our sleeves!
